Keith takes part in Brighton Pride 2011

16 August 2011 - On Saturday 13 August Keith attended Brighton Pride 2011.

Keith said: “I’m proud to live in and represent Brighton, reputed to be the friendliest city for gay people in Britain. As a former city councillor here, and now MEP for the South East of England, I have always cherished diversity and equality and have taken this message to the European Parliament too.

There is still work to do in the UK and in Europe to defend the human rights of all people, including the LBGT communities. We must cut across discrimination and bigotry, wherever we find it”
