Environment and Health

As a member of the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament and substitute member of the Environment Committee, Keith is passionately committed to protecting people and planet from the worst effects of climate change and environmental degradation.  Keith has been a vocal critic of the EU Commission’s weak climate proposals, and will therefore continue to call for tougher action to reduce the EU’s carbon emissions. Keith will continue to push for proper regulation of the fracking industry, and will continue to call on the UK Government to take urgently needed action to reduce air pollution.
