Keith Taylor MEP: Constituency Coordinator and Researcher – Full time

Are you a talented coordinator and strategic thinker who cares about securing the best deal for people and planet in a post-referendum Britain?

Keith Taylor, the Green Party’s MEP for South East England, is looking for an enthusiastic, strategic, highly organised and personable member of staff to coordinate his work in South East England.

An ardent Remain campaigner in the EU referendum, Keith is now re-doubling his efforts to protect hard-fought-for laws protecting the environment, our rights in the workplace and animals – among many others – as Britain prepares to negotiate a future deal outside of the EU. This job offers a unique opportunity to support Keith and his team in that work.

The ideal applicant for this job wants to build a fairer Europe – where people are treated with dignity no matter where they were born. You’ll need to be someone who understands how politics works – and wants to keep a close eye on those in power at Westminster and in Brussels. You’ll care deeply about protecting our environment and rights from polluting industries and exploitative corporations.

The position requires excellent coordination, communication and research skills. You will need to show leadership and have the ability to manage a small team of staff and liaise with a wide range of different organisations. A highly organised individual and a sound strategic thinker, you will be able to use your initiative to manage multiple projects and be a good team player.

  • Hours: 5 days (35 hours) per week.
  • Salary: £30,000 per annum inclusive of London weighting, plus pension contribution.
  • Based in MEP offices in Old St, London
